A New Era OF Unity
Is Dawning for America.
Astronaut Victor Glover
Shares His Vision:
When asked about
being the first Black
astronaut to circumnavigate
the Moon,
Glover expressed his hope…
“that young brown boys and girls
can look at me and go,
'Hey, he looks like me’
…but I also hope we are pushing
the other direction.
That one day this is just
…human history.
It's the story of humanity,
not black history,
but that it becomes
human history”
Glover went on to say
that the mission is about
“unity and shared purpose”,
not just about making firsts.
“We all see so much division.
We hope
that what we’re doing
is a source of unity.”
,,,It really takes us all,
in all our skills,
to successfully
go to the moon
and come back.
But in order to do that,
we have to take
all of our frictions and
we have to work it out”
If We Americans
Can Go To The Moon
Together,
Then We Can Find
A Way To Unite Together
As American Citizens
Without Divisions.
The First Step
Might Be To
Start Judging Others
“Not By The Color
Of Their Skin,
But By the Content

Realize That
As American Citizens
We All
Have A “Shared Purpose”
In Creating A
“Successful Human History”
Together…

Americans As Simply

And Anything
That Divides Us,
And Be
One People United
As American Citizens.
